Viettel, formally the Military Industry and Telecoms Group, is a state-owned Vietnamese telecommunications and technology conglomerate originally founded as a communications unit of the Vietnam People's Army. It is the largest mobile network operator in Vietnam, with extended operations across more than 10 countries spanning Southeast Asia, Africa, and the Caribbean, and has expanded in recent years to develop a portfolio of domestic-facing digital services including cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and smart public administration solutions.
